I had the pleasure of cooking/massaging on Maui in November with Swellwomen. It was 'over the top' fun, and I highly recommend this vacation to anyone looking to; learn to surf, eat great food, meet new friends and stretch your body and mind on the astounding island of Maui.

Issue #9 - December 2004 - Fall Flavours: Maui Retreats, Great Food & More
October was spent putting the Milagro garden to bed, after harvesting the last of the beans, squash and garlic. It was hard to leave the farm, but Maui was calling. One of our sister companies Swellwomen had 2 retreats back to back, so I offered my services creating a healthy gourmet menu and massaging the guests. It was a delight! With daily surf lessons, and an eclectic blend of local yoga classes, it was a full spectrum experience. There are many more opportunities in 2005 to experience these Surf and Yoga Retreats on Maui.

Issue #8 - September 2004 - Fall Harvest: Veggie Talk & Upcoming Retreats
What a summer it has been with 2 Sold Out Surf Sister Billabong Yoga and Surf Camps and a Blue Moon Yoga and Surf Retreat with Marne Semick. I have been spending plenty of time in Tofino. The weather was picturesque for the July Yoga and Surf Retreats with record breaking temperatures and perfect learning waves. It could not stay that way forever. The skies opened on us last weekend during our August Surf Sister/Billabong Camp.

Great weather, spectacular camping, food, surf and yoga! It was another blissful weekend. Our Surf Sister Billabong Yoga Surf Retreat in Tofino could not have had better weather. What a great way to spend the weekend, camping under the stars, eating delicious meals, learning to surf and enjoying daily yoga classes.

Sunny weather, surf lessons, retreat testimonials, and more. We were blessed with record temperatures in the 80’s…the warmest June Tofino has seen in years. What a perfect introduction to a blend of Surf lessons with Surf Sister, Organic delights by Milagro Retreats and daily yoga with Kelly of Sacred Stone. Being the first Retreat of our 3rd season in Tofino, it could not have been better. From the luxury accommodations, to the amazing group of people.

Recipes, upcoming yoga and surf retreats, pilates, trager and more. Having just returned from our second annual Full Moon Baja Yoga Surf Retreat with Eion Finn, I am totally inspired. Wendy Rudell offered a lunch demo introducing us to Raw Cuisine. Yum!! Since returning to the island, I have been experimenting, and would like to share one of my favourite recipes so far.
